Automation & integrations

Stop paying people to retype data.

We wire your systems together — accounting, payments, telephony, marketplaces, suppliers, shipping — so the same number stops being typed into three places by three people.

What this covers

System-to-system integration

QuickBooks, Stripe, PayPal, Plaid, Twilio, e-signature, shipping carriers, EDI. If it has an API — or even just a CSV export — it can be connected.

Supplier & marketplace feeds

Product catalogues, inventory and pricing pulled on a schedule and kept current, including the rate limits and the outages.

Background job pipelines

Queues that retry, back off and tell you when something failed, rather than silently losing the work at 2am.

The unblocking work

Geo blocks, expired credentials, undocumented endpoints, APIs that lie about their own responses. This is most of the actual job.

What you get

Every engagement includes this, in writing.

  • A written map of what moves where, before anything is built
  • Retries, backoff and dead-letter handling on every external call
  • Alerting when a feed stops, so you learn from us and not from a customer
  • Credentials in a secrets store, never in the codebase
  • A runbook for the failure modes we know about
Typical range
Typically 1–5 weeks · $3k–$18k

How it's priced
Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before anyone starts
Who does the work
The developer on your kickoff call is the one writing the code
Prices are planning ranges. You get one exact number in writing after a free 30-minute scoping call.

Questions

Our vendor says integration isn't possible. Is it?
Usually it is, and usually the answer is somewhere between an undocumented endpoint and a scheduled export. The JDS integration above was declared impossible by two rounds of support tickets; the real cause was a geographic block that took one proxy to solve.
What if the other system has no API?
There's almost always a path — a scheduled file drop, a report export, a partner portal. It's less elegant and we'll tell you it's less elegant, but it still beats a person retyping records.
How do we know it's still working next month?
Because it tells you. Every integration we build reports its own health, and anything that stops running raises an alert. Silent failure is the only failure mode that really costs money.
