Who we are

Briskyn LLC ("Briskyn", "we", "us") is a software company based in Chicago, Illinois, USA. We build and operate software products, and an integration service (at api.briskyn.com) that connects a business's accounts on third-party platforms — such as eBay — to the software that business uses.

Information we collect

On this website

• What you send us. When you use the contact or careers form, we receive what you enter — typically your name, email, company, phone, budget range and message.
• Technical data. Our hosting and security provider processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• A display preference. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your own browser. The site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Through platform integrations

When a business (our customer) connects a marketplace or platform account — for example an eBay seller account — to software that uses our service, we receive data through that platform's official API, and only after the account owner explicitly authorizes it. Depending on what the business uses, this can include:

• account identifiers for the connected account;
• listing, product and inventory data;
• order data, including buyer names, shipping addresses and other order details the platform provides;
• access credentials (OAuth tokens) that let us act for the account owner.

How we use information

• To provide the service the business asked for — for example publishing and updating its own listings, and keeping its inventory and orders in sync across the stores it sells on.
• To keep the service secure, troubleshoot problems and prevent abuse.
• To reply to inquiries sent through this website.

We act only on accounts the authorizing owner controls. We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use platform data to build market-research or competitive-intelligence products. We use eBay data only as permitted by the eBay API License Agreement.

Our role for integration data

For data received through platform integrations, we process it on behalf of the business that connected the account (as its service provider). A buyer with questions about how a seller uses their order information can contact that seller as well as us.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run our systems — cloud hosting, content delivery and security, and email — bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
• The connected platform itself, as part of doing what the business asked (for example, sending a listing update to eBay).
• Legal and safety — if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, users or the public.
• Business transfers — if Briskyn is involved in a merger or acquisition, with notice on this page.

We never sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

• Website inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, then deleted.
• Integration data is kept only while the connection is active. When a business disconnects an account, or asks us to, we delete that account's data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
• Access credentials are deleted as soon as a connection is disconnected or the owner revokes access.
• Platform account deletions. When a platform tells us that a user has closed or deleted their account — for example through eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion notifications — we delete or irreversibly anonymize the personal data we hold about that user.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS), access credentials are encrypted at rest, and access to systems is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

Your choices and rights

• You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or for a copy of it, by emailing hello@briskyn.com. We will verify the request and respond within 30 days.
• An account owner can revoke our access at any time from the connected platform's own settings (for example, eBay's third-party app permissions). After that we can no longer receive new data from that account.
• California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Where data is processed

We are based in the United States. TikTok Shop data is processed and stored only in the United States. Data from our other integrations — for example Etsy, eBay and TikTok video posting — and our supporting systems, such as platform notifications, website inquiries and email, may be processed and stored in the European Union (Lithuania) and by service providers in other countries, always with the protections described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make them clear on this page.
